Park Guide

It is located between the Hongzecheon Bridge and the Nanjicheon Bridge, and is 3.1 km (about 770,000 m²) long and is located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu. Newly created as a result of the Hangang Renaissance project, Nanji Han River Park has been completed with the completion of the Sunset Park, the Central Connection Bridge connecting to the Sky Park, the Peace Park Connection Bridge, and the Complex Connecting Pathway to improve the accessibility of the citizens who use the park.

The Mirror Fountain installed in front of the Peace Park Connection Bridge is a landmark element of Nanjihan River Park, creating a beautiful landscape every time you spill water, offering a variety of things to see and do like a seven-colored rainbow. The riverside water playground, which can be used in the summer months, has been set up to create a water playground with a maximum depth of 80 cm to revive the memories of playing on the riverside in the past, so that children can accompany the family to enjoy it.

In addition, a walking bridge has been installed in the ecological support so that animals that inhabit the waterfront, such as grasslands and flora in their natural state, can be observed. There is a Nanji camping ground nearby, which is popular with citizens as there is a place to camp out and enjoy a barbecue. The bike paths in Nanji Park are connected to Tung Island Park to the east, the southern end of the Hangzhou Bridge in Goyang City to the west, and the Sunset Park Sky Park, so you can enjoy the Nanji Han River Park to enjoy the crystal clear nature aroma.

Facilities and Instructions

Offering citizens a place to relax and play in the city centre, Nanji Park was created as a camping ground ahead of the 2002 World Cup games where people can camp out and enjoy a barbecue. Nanji Park is located between the Seongsan Bridge and the Kayang Bridge, and the Hangang Renaissance project is connecting the Sunset Park, Sky Park, and Peace Park with 3 bridges connecting Nanji Han River Park, adding accessibility and convenience. The artificial island installed in Nanjihan River Park is connected by ecological support and a walkway pathway, and a wildlife exploration center and waterside cultural center are set up around it, so that children who come here can play with nature and use it as a nature learning area.
