When you arrive at Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5, come out of Exit 2 and wait for the bus at the KT Gwanghwamun Branch for the purpose of transferring to the 7212 or 1020 bus. The destination is the Inwangsan The Forest Super Bookstore. It's a place with great views.
Get off at [Jahamun Pass, Yundongju Literature Museum]. A bus stop where you can reach Yundongju Literature Museum just across the street. The view of Seoul from the surrounding area is also impressive. It is the scenery of downtown Seoul that dilutes the boredom accumulated in the long walk, as it takes about 15 minutes to walk past the Literature Center to the small bookstore.
[Travel Tips]
After entering Cheongun Park, you will pass the pavilion (Seosijeong) and you will see a cascading deck road that gets closer to the road, but you can safely move along the pedestrian path by choosing the gentle downhill road on the left and using the uphill section in the picture. I passed a section where I could feel the scent of acacia flowers. It reminds me of the old TV cartoon [Little Car Bung Bung]. The little car gets energized when it smells the scent of flowers. Even adults who liked the manga were inspired by the scent of flowers.
It is a forest trail with the advantage of being able to walk away from the strong afternoon sun because there is a forest. While walking on the dirt road, I saw a broad-leaved daylily on the way to and from people who enjoyed forest bathing. Unlike the size of the leaves, small white flowers bloom. Daylilies bloom in August and September, but they seem to be able to see flowers earlier this year. It is a non-circulating 2.7km course, and it has the advantage of being easy to connect to public transportation based on the end point and that it is possible to travel without obstacles. It seems that the starting point was set for every 6-minute distance on average (19kcal consumption), but around the 5th point, the scheduled arrival time was delayed for the fun of seeing wild flowers, but it was good. I misunderstood it as Gujeolcho, but Shasta Daisy. There is no reason to leave empty seats at the tables facing each other as they bloom around the rocks as if forming a cluster and show a unique harmony. Since I walked about 1/3 of the entire section of Inwangsan Jarak-gil, from now on, I will stay at the small bookstore and soak up the joy of reading. Time to get wet. The police post, which was operated for the purpose of protecting the Blue House, was designed to adjust the floor height of the existing closed building according to the full opening of Mt. Inwang in 2018, and to freely move around the open space through the additionally installed internal and external stairs to see the city view from any location. There was work to restore nature by dismantling the artificial axle, but there was one relic of memory related to the old police post, which is an iron oil tank. Although it was an oil tank necessary for the operation of the boiler, it once again reminds us of the 1/21 Incident of 1968 and the role of the guard post, which was an incident that could not open Inwangsan Mountain for half a century.
The interior of the small bookstore is a pleasure to choose from with a variety of seating arrangements, but many prefer an outdoor table with a city view. If you look at the long table in the picture, you are reminded of the flowing Cheonggyecheon. I chose a glass of iced Americano and a light rice focaccia.
※ Observe social distancing and wear a mask other than eating.
※ Books displayed in the Miniature Bookstore are for sale. Put one of the paper cups I was keeping in an eco bag and bring it with me to leave a picture of the Inwangsan Super Bookstore.
June is a good time to feel the charm of Inwangsan Jarak-gil and Choso Bookstore, where you can walk through the forest and enjoy the scenery.
