Bus No. 101, which stops at the bus stop in front of Choji Station on Line 4, thankfully passes through Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art. Since it is a route that usually runs every 25 minutes, it waits to avoid the cold wind on the first floor of Choji Station, and then moves to the bus stop in front of Choji Station 2 to 3 minutes before the arrival of the bus by figuring out the location of the operation through the bus information smartphone app. I recommend that
<Note> Take bus number 9-1 in front of Jungang Station.
Comparing walking from <Gunja Jugong Complex 12, Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art stop> to the museum, getting off at the next stop in Choji Station, Hwarang Amusement Park, seems to take about the same amount of time. At the Gunja Jugong Complex 12 bus stop, you can go through the parking lot and follow the trail around the Hwarang Reservoir to the museum.
I got a ticket on the first floor and moved to the exhibition room on the second floor.

The sculpture 'Maitreya', which looks like a prayer with both hands together, is slightly tilted backwards when viewed from the side, but maintains a balance enough to stand without a separate structure. The work of excavated sculptures is unique. When the shape of the engraving is completed by digging out the soil, the cement is carefully poured, and when it hardens, it is taken out like an excavation.
Uiju-ro in the DMZ. Not everyone can use it.
Traces of flowers and string materials that remain like lumps remain on the surface of the work, giving it a rough feel, but the overall vague atmosphere makes viewers immerse themselves in the work.
This work, which is over 4 meters in width, was completed by adding acrylic work and silkscreen to textiles rather than canvas. The painting shows the Han River Bridge, which was cut off due to the war, and the temporary floating bridge connected like a shadow in front of it. Like the coldness on a canvas, the Han River in the terrible winter when the war broke out.
The works hanging at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art sometimes seemed to need wind, and as I unfolded the exhibition catalog, I could indirectly feel the feeling conveyed through the ground at the place where <100 Winds> was installed in Imjingak Pyeonghwanuri.
<Traces of that Day, 2021> re-produced in a new format for this exhibition on the outdoor deck of Zone C on the 2nd floor of the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art
Just as scrap fabrics of various colors are gathered to complete a piece of work, it contains the artist's wish that conflicts and confrontations lead to reconciliation, and the divided South and North lead to peace.
A concert-style performance video created to share with the audience the thrill that transcends the limits of the human body and dance.
An exhibition space where traditional elements of Korea are mixed with Ambiguous Dance Company's unique and dynamic gestures and delivered to the audience.
