When I came out of Exit 11 of Sinseol-dong Station (Lines 1 and 2/Ui Sinseol Line) and walked 150 meters to the Hillstate Apartment, I saw an arched fence full of red roses. Early in the morning, I looked at the roses that seemed to cheer someone on their way to work, and then I walked along the Sungin-dong road that leads to the right. As I walked, I found that the strength of the neighborhood was that I planted flowerpots in each store and took care of plants. In front of a house repair shop, there were flowers as if they were repairing a weary heart, but there were also purple mallow flowers. If you walk about 200 meters from the apartment entrance, you will arrive at Dodam Dodam Daycare Center. The name of the first flower I knew was 'Nantrum lily'. Also called 'Nestrium', the trimmed flowers and thinly sliced leaves are said to be used for food (salad or bibimbap). You can feel the spicy taste because it retains the scent of pepper. Next to the nursery is the first hanok library in Jongno-gu. The name is the same, Dodam Dodam.
At the beginning of June, the three Musketeers who welcome visitors in low pots are marigolds, cornflowers, and oxeye daisies. On each easel-type display stand above the bookshelf, the cover of a book recommended by the library welcomes visitors first.
Depending on the size, thickness, and cover composition, you decide whether to read a book in a hanok or borrow a book.

The collection period is Monday-Friday from 2pm to 5pm (weekends and holidays excluded / library membership card holding) I pulled out a book about shadow play that opens up my imagination while turning the pages.
Through drawings on the paper, children can spend time concentrating on each shape.
In the case of a camel, the parent and child's hands must be combined to complete the shape of the camel's shadow. The grandfather reading the newspaper with a magnifying glass sitting on a chair, and the old watch nodding.
Look at the illustrations of the radio and electric fan that have been used for a long time in the house where my grandfather was born.
The fate of the watch also resembled my grandfather, slowly slowing down, and it didn't fit well, but he was always by his side.
the day my grandfather was born. A precious guest wall clock that first came to our house. The remaining wall clocks contain the time and memories of the family, conveying a longing. Unlike the house where the wall clock is hung, the main stage of <Grandma Farming Diary> is nature.
If you store the rice seeds you harvested last fall, and soak the rice seeds in an antiseptic solution for a few days at the time of Qingming of the fifth season, they will sprout. We convey the importance of agriculture. You need seeds (seeds of plants) to grow and produce a valuable harvest, but it is not easy to see seeds these days. Dodam Dodam Hanok Museum Under the well-dried scrubber, a seed display stand is attached to each small glass bottle with various names such as wormwood, glutinous rice, pine nut, tiger bean, bachelor radish, bitter gourd, cucumber seed, and spinach. There was a rockfish flower that likes a sunny place, but likes a moderately wet environment. The unique shape of the petals reminds me of an old woman wearing Mompe pants holding yellow Injeolmi to give to her grandchildren. The common feature of the leaves of Ageratum and Rathorn Cress (pictured) is that they resemble a heart. You can see rare rattlesnakes found in the mountains and fields at the Hanok Library.
'Dodam Dodam' refers to the shape of a child growing up playing without problems. The shape of the leaf (leaf body) reminded me of a chubby baby's hand. A library worker introduced the vegetable garden and told me it was 'Dakpul'.
Even if it is called 'Kokpul' because of its old sound, it finds a connection with the plant. It is used in the traditional Korean paper (dak paper) making process as it can obtain the properties of a cold and sticky mucus from the root part of the mulberry. By allowing the well-dissolved mulberry fibers to be mixed with the mulberry juice (soaked roots in water), the fibers become entangled and the paper making process can be continued.
In the modern society that favors steam irons, trim stones and stones are like relics, but the exhibits at Dodam Dodam Hanok Library are valuable materials for children who do not know the shape or material.
Because there is an electronic calculator, the use of the abacus is not the same as it used to be, but when I bounce the abacus after a long time, it reminds me of the days when I was focused on accurate summation. I'm used to the world in which I am sensitive to my own profit and loss by bouncing an invisible abacus, so I can't blame the feeling of being heavier than the light movement of my thumb and index finger.
Through the library tour exhibition <Looking at Jongno with Picture Books>, I was able to see the original paintings that were completed for publication, so I turned the pages and matched the original paintings on the easel.
