Gagyanal, which was used for about two years, changed its name to 'Hangeulnal' in 1928 and is still in use today. It was after liberation that the lunar calendar was changed back to the solar calendar, and Hangeul Day was set as October 9 as it is today.

In response to the Japanese policy of annihilation of the Korean language, the Korean Language Society began work on compiling a Korean dictionary.
In the second half of the movie <Malmoy>, there is a scene where a bag containing valuable manuscripts is found in a warehouse near the station. It was September 1945.
It is a miracle to find a manuscript containing the blood and souls of members who participated in the compilation of 164,125 words and 25,500 pages containing dialects and jargon.
The first volume of <The Large Dictionary of the Joseon Language> was published in 1947, followed by the second volume (1949). Volume 3 (1950) continued to be published, but was discontinued due to the Korean War. After receiving aid, the 4th, 5th, and 6th volumes were published in 1957, and the large dictionary of the Joseon language was completed.

It was possible with the help of Jeong Se-gwon that we were able to move the hall here to Hwa-dong.
The 'ㅁ'-shaped improved hanok with practicality and economy remaining in Ikseon-dong, Jongno-gu was completed by the political situation. He tried to expand the habitable area, but Jeong Se-kwon purchased large land in Gahoe-dong and Ikseon-dong and supplied small-scale, improved hanok in large quantities.
